Update: 2/18/15:  We regretfully write that  Augie has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.  He is very missed by his wonderful foster parents. Run free, sweet boy.

Update: 2/29/12:  Well, due to my age and my health, I am being moved to CFPR’s hospice program.  I don’t mind.  I have two wonderful parents who love me dearly and will do anything for me.  I will remain in their care until the end of my days.  I am honored to be a part of the CFPR family.  Check back on me periodically to see how I’m doing.

Update: 11/21/11: I am officially ready to find a forever home of my own.  I am doing so well.  I am up to date on vaccines now, have been neutered and had a dental.  My smile is just beautiful,  and I have adjusted well to my surroundings.  I am a senior pug, but I am healthy.  I am blind in my left eye, but it does not slow me down.  If you have it in your heart to make me a member of your family, please fill out an application and remember to ask for Augie.  I do qualify for our Seniors for Seniors program, so please do not forget to ask about that.  See you soon!

Update: 9/7/11:  I have had my neuter and dental.  Everything went well.  I still need to get my shots, but we are taking it slow as I am  an old man and dont want to overload my body.  I am doing really well and adjusting to my foster home.  Please keep checking in to see how I’m doing.

Hi There!  I’m Augie, a 12 year old fawn male.  I have been in for a check-up with the vet and need a dental and neuter.  We are evaluating to make sure I am healthy enough to go through surgery.  At my age, we just want to be extra cautious.  I am blind in my left eye, but I’m adjusting well.  I will be having bloodwork done as well, so please check back to see how I’m doing.
